Post boss resigns over huge salary

The man credited with saving the government-owned postal service announced his resignation on Thursday after a slap down from politicians over his $4.3 million pay packet. Ahmed Fahour said he was stepping down as CEO on the same day Australia Post reported a huge leap in half-year net profit to $101 million from just $12 million for the same period a year earlier. Local media had said Fahour was paid 10 times more than the prime minister.
