Day to raise awareness about hearing care
The World Health Organization will observe International Ear Care Day on March 3. The day was established at the first International Conference on Prevention and Rehabilitation of Hearing Impairment in Beijing in 2007. It is aimed at raising awareness about hearing care. Hearing loss is often associated with other diseases, like dementia, obesity, depression and diabetes.
