Aerial China set to soar

A new documentary that gives viewers a bird's-eye view of China's breathtaking beauty premiered on Jan 28. Presented by China Central Television, the first season of Aerial China features both the natural and cultural environments of six provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Shanghai, Xinjiang, Hainan and Heilongjiang. According to chief director Yu Le, the documentary, which uses cutting-edge technology and adopts a fresh narrative style, is likely to spark viewers' wanderlust. The series contains 34 episodes.
