Move to reduce fees for enterprises
The State Council, China's Cabinet, held an executive meeting on Feb 8. The meeting, presided over by Premier Li Keqiang, decided to further streamline and regulate fee charges on enterprises to cut the financial burden on the corporate sector and boost the real economy. The meeting also decided that the construction sector should further reforms to push industrial upgrading. The meeting agreed that policies should be put in place to improve the quality of farmland, a move that will contribute to grain security and the building of a modern agricultural sector.
