6 killed in highway tunnel collision

Six people were killed and three others injured after a minibus collided with a truck in an expressway tunnel early on Sunday, local police said. The minibus from Dongguan rear-ended the truck and caught fire in the tunnel in Meixian county, according to Meizhou city's Public Security Bureau. Rescuers retrieved six bodies from the minibus. Three other people were injured and sent to a hospital for treatment of noncritical injuries. Police blamed the crash on driver fatigue.
