Yuan weakens against dollar
The Chinese yuan on Friday softened mildly against the US dollar which was pushed up by US President Donald Trump's tax cut plan and encouraging US economic data. The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, stood at 6.8819 against the dollar, weakening from 6.871 on Thursday.
