Beijing braces for traffic rush as holiday ends

The Spring Festival travel rush that comes with the celebration of the Lantern Festival on Saturday has prompted the Beijing traffic management bureau to issue a heavy-traffic warning. The traditional festival is always celebrated with family dinners, gatherings, quizzes and lantern shows. Traffic will also be heavy on Tuesday, especially around department stores and restaurants, because of Valentine's Day.
