Water from Yangtze benefits 11m people
Beijing has received more than 2 billion cubic meters of water diverted from the Yangtze River as of Wednesday, benefiting 11 million residents, according to the capital's office for the diversion project. The South-to-North Water Diversion Project began operation in December 2014.
