Son spent thousands on game

An 8-year-old boy spent more than 18,000 yuan ($2,600) on his mother's mobile phone without her realizing. The mother, surnamed Zhou, said her son spent the money in just nine days after guessing the code to her e-wallet. He admitted to spending the funds on an online game, designed by a company in Dongguan, Guangdong province. Lawyers said Zhou had little chance of getting a refund if the online game company had refused to return her money.
