Anhui startup launches smart suitcase

CowaRobot, a startup based in eastern China's Anhui province, unveiled a robot suitcase that can automatically follow its owner around. Enabled by artificial intelligence technology, the aluminum suitcase comes with a smartphone app, through which users can control smart locks, record and share the movement of their luggage, and monitor the status of the suitcase in case it gets lost. The smart luggage, priced $699 and weighing 4.5 kilograms, can go up inclines as steep as 15 degrees.
