Gambling addict robbed shop
A man who ran up gambling debts of 150,000 yuan ($22,000) was detained in Jimo recently for robbing a goldsmith's shop. The 30-year-old, surnamed Qi, became obsessed with online games and gambling in July. He told police he had spent all the money he had and borrowed more to continue playing. Qi allegedly robbed the gold-smith's shop on Dec 22.
