"When I left prison, I could really feel freedom. I still believe in the law, and I must say 'thank you' to those who provided legal aid for me during my detention. I don't want to spend the rest of my life looking for revenge. Instead, I'm looking forward to a bright future where I will take care of my elderly parents."

Chen Man, 53, from Sichuan province, who was wrongfully imprisoned for 23 years. His conviction was quashed on Feb 1 last year.

"I'm happy that China's top court has recognized my right to protect my name. Millions of Chinese consumers have always known me by the name of "Qiaodan" (Jordan) in Chinese. Nothing is more important than protecting someone's name."
