New charity union simplifies giving

To simplify clothes recycling and donating, One Foundation was started in July by Alibaba Foundation and guoguo, a logistics tracking smartphone application launched by China's e-commerce giant Alibaba Group. More than 20 companies and social groups have joined the charity union to help with clothes recycling in 30 cities. By smartphone, donors can have their spare clothes picked up at home and choose which charity receives them. The Alibaba Foundation has injected 100 million yuan ($14.42 million) to support the charity union for its first year.
