Events overseas to mark Spring Festival

China plans to promote its culture and traditions by screening Chinese films and staging song and dance performances in foreign nations during the Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, which will fall on Jan 28. Those events will focus on sharing Chinese values of family union, harmony and peace, according to a statement released by the State Council Information Office.
