Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase

British luxury brand Bentley has launched its extended wheelbase Mulsanne in China. The model, with a wheelbase reaching 3,516 mm and back row legroom extended by 250 mm, is specially designed for Chinese customers, who usually prefer being driven to driving.

The model measures 5,825 mm in length, 1,926 mm in width and 1,541 mm in height.

It sports a 6.75-liter V8 engine and boasts a top speed of 296 km per hour.

Its top torque reaches 1,020 Nm with maximum output of 512 horsepower.

Standard features include air springs with continuous damping control, hide and chrome trimmed gear lever, Bentley-branded front brake calipers, 20-inch signature wheels, and a choice of 24 hide colors and four color splits.

Volvo S90 Long Wheelbase

Geely Auto backed Volvo Cars launched its largest localized sedan the S90 Long Wheelbase, on Thursday in Beijing at prices surprising the Chinese premium sedan market, but the top configuration variants are still in the planning stage.

The newly launched stretched version has a wheelbase 12 cm longer than the original S90, with the extra length is given to the rear passengers for a more comfortable ride.

The second model on Scalable Platform Architecture is equipped with and Sensus connectivity system with a 9-inch high-definition touch screen and a 12.3-inch TFT dashboard display.

Its third generation City Safety contains a series of complicated technologies protecting the driver, passengers and even pedestrians.

A total of five variants, two of Volvo S90 T4 and three of T5, hit shelves at price ranging from 369,800 to 551,800 yuan ($53,200 to 79,400). The auto maker has a plan to launch S90 T6 and T8 editions in the near future, and all of the long wheelbase versions are set to be manufactured in Changchun, Jilin province.
