Leaders asked to oversee legal work

The central government on Wednesday issued a new regulation to make the Communist Party of China and government leaders above county level responsible for pushing forward legal framework construction. It stipulated that such leaders should add agendas for adding legal systems into the regional social and economic growth plans, which should be evaluated annually. They should support the work of legal organs and are forbidden to interfere with any case.
