Raven H1 device smartens home appliances

State of the art

The Beijing-based startup Raven Tech has unveiled Raven H1, its first smarthome device that promises to help urbanites become totally "hands free" at home. The product comprises a main unit, a screen and a loudspeaker. Available for 1,999 yuan ($290) on a crowd-funding platform on JD.com Inc, Raven H1 can connect all the traditional home appliances like TVs and air conditioners, and make them smart enough to respond to voice commands. Without using remote controllers, users will be able to turn on/off most of the home appliances by "asking" them to do so. Apart from voice control, users can also download the OK Man app and send their voice or text-based requests via smartphones.
