Prostitute posed as news anchor
A 42-year-old accused of prostitution has been detained after she allegedly masqueraded as a news anchor by posting pictures of younger women online. The woman, known as Yan Yan, came to the capital as a migrant worker but became involved in the sex trade after she was unable to find a job. She told police that she assumed a false identity so that she could raise her price from 150 yuan ($22) to 1,500 yuan per encounter.
