Summit to focus on ancient town's preservation
The Qingyan China Ancient Town Summit will kick off on Monday in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province. The three-day event will focus on the preservation and development of Qingyan, a town built in 1378. About 100 officials, scholars and business representatives are expected to attend the summit. Qingyan will hold a music festival and heritage exhibition to mark the event.
