Item from Dec 9, 1998, in China Daily: The Yun7-200A aircraft successfully completed a test flight in Beijing yesterday.
Developed by Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Corp, the Yun7-200Ais the first passenger aircraft in the country to have passed the strict standards of China's civil aviation regulators. It will be used for domestic flights.
In November last year, China made aviation history when the country's first domestically developed large passenger aircraft was unveiled in Shanghai.
