Plan for intelligent manufacturing
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released a five-year blueprint for intelligent manufacturing (2016-20) on Wednesday. The plan aims to generate new growth and improve the manufacturing sector of China by developing intelligent manufacturing. According to the plan, digital manufacturing will be implemented in key areas of traditional manufacturing industry by 2020, and China will basically establish the intelligent manufacturing support system by 2025.
