Park cries during public appearance

Battered by massive protests and an impeachment push, South Korea's President Park Geun-hye wept during her first public appearance since a huge political scandal exploded in October. Her visit to a rural market came as the ruling party on Thursday urged her to step down in April next year. Meanwhile, police arrested a 48-year-old man accused of setting fire to her father's birthplace in a nearby city.
