Elderly woman hit by falling bird

An elderly woman was hit by a falling peacock on a housing estate in the city's Shapingba district recently. The 61-year-old, surnamed Jing, was not injured by the bird, which fell from an apartment above. A passer-by helped Jing call the police, but no one from the building admitted to owning the bird. Further investigations are underway.
