Ex-adviser gets 13 years for bribery
Chen Tiexin, former vice-chairman of the Liaoning provincial political advisory body, was sentenced to 13 years and nine months in prison for taking bribes of nearly 22 million yuan ($3.2 million) from 2008 to 2013 when he was the top official of Chaoyang city, the Harbin Intermediate People's Court announced on Tuesday.
