Cabinet passes three key decisions

The executive meeting of the State Council, the Cabinet, decided on Nov 15 to make up for three major deficiencies in the period of the 13th Five Year Plan (2016-20), including poverty relief, support for education for poor families and regions, and ecological and environmental protection. The meeting decided to launch a batch of major projects to enhance impoverished regions' self-development capacity, make better use of fiscal funds to support development of education in poverty-stricken areas, and approved the 13th Five-Year Plan for Ecological and Environmental Protection.
