Prancing Horse's corporate social responsibility program milestones in China

August 2005

Ferrari began its philanthropic efforts in China. The 15,000 Red Miles tour visited Hope primary schools, and more than 3.5 million yuan ($508,181) was donated to the Soong Ching Ling Foundation Pediatrics Award.

October 2008

Ferrari donated 2.23 million yuan, raised from auctioning eight F1 drivers' items, to the One Foundation.

November 2009

Ferrari partnered with the renowned artist Lu Hao for the launch of a China limited edition model, with the offer of 11 units and one rare collectible super car. In June 2010, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China limited edition was auctioned for 1.2 million euros ($1.27 million) and the funds raised were used to sponsor top students from Tsinghua University for further study and internships in Italy.

April 2011

Ferrari's dealers and dozens of owners in China raised 3.5 million yuan for the Shanghai Charity Fund for children who needed medical help, through a grand charity parade.

July 2012

Ferrari and the non-profit organization Roots & Shoots jointly carried out the Million Tree Project, becoming the first carbon neutral luxury automobile brand in China and contributing to environmental protection.

July 2014

The Million Tree Project started its second phase. A total of 111,267 trees were donated and formed a 113-hectare Ferrari grove.

2015

Ferrari named its corporate social responsibility program The Love of Red, a fou.r-pillar CSR program including environmental care, education, safe driving and social welfare.

March 2016

Ferrari China started a strategic partnership with Tsinghua University, and promised to provide top students with scholarships and internship opportunities.

September 2016

Ferrari China cooperated with different social channels by inviting its official instructors to help enhance the general public's awareness of safe driving.

November 2016

The Prancing Horse teamed up with Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit organization, to grant life-changing wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
