Former lawmaker charged with bribery

A procuratorate in Tianjin indicted Gai Ruyin, former deputy head of the Heilongjiang People's Congress Standing Committee, on Thursday, accusing him of bribery. The procuratorate said Gai abused his position to seek benefits for others in return for goods and money while he held major posts in the province. The case was filed with Tianjin First Intermediate People's Court.
