There are 27 provincial-level administrations that have publicized their residents' incomes in the first three quarters, Xinhua News Agency said on Thursday. The Tibet autonomous region, and Hebei, Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces, have not.
Xinhua listed the growth in income for both urban and rural residents during the period. In terms of the growth rate, the top three in the urban-income category are Guizhou province (up 9 percent compared with the previous quarter), Qinghai province (up 9 percent) and Tianjin municipality (up 8.9 percent).
In the rural-income group, the top three are Chongqing municipality (up 10.7 percent), Guizhou province (up 10 percent) and the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region (up 9.9 percent).
