The Qingdao Clipper should be in a snarly mood for the inaugural China Arena Football League championship game against the Beijing Lions on Nov 6 in Shanghai.
The Lions, 5-0, will be looking to cap a perfect campaign while the Clipper (3-2) will be out to make amends for a 47-40 loss to the upstart Shenzhen Naja in front of 4,000 fans as the CAFL's regular season Super Series wrapped up in Shenzhen on Sunday.
In fairness, Qingdao had already clinched a spot in the China Bowl championship, and Clipper coach Rod Miller rested key starters who were nursing nagging injuries.
