Biz: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are top cities

The Warton Economics Institute, an organization focused on the Chinese economy, has released a new report ranking the country's top 100 cities. Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou made the top three. The rankings are based on two sets of data from the National Bureau of Statistics. One looked at the local GDP and household savings, accounting for 61.8 percent of the total score, and the other appraised the cities' science and education, culture, healthcare and ecological environment, accounting for the remainder.
