New US visa update system for Chinese

The US Customs and Border Protection has released more information on the launch of the online Electronic Visa Update System, or EVUS. The system is aimed at Chinese citizens holding 10-year B1/B2, B1 or B2 visitor visas. Using EVUS, they will need to periodically update their information to facilitate travel to the United States. The fee to enroll in EVUS is $8 (53 yuan). Enrollment is already open, and becomes mandatory as of Nov 29. The EVUS requirement stems from a November 2014 reciprocal arrangement for the issuance of 10-year, multiple-entry visas for visitors.
