Key accomplishments have come from sixth plenary sessions of past CPC Central Committees
June 1981: 11th CPC Central Committee reviewed major political movements after the founding of the People's Republic in 1949 and denounced the "cultural revolution" (1966-76).
September 1986: 12th CPC Central Committee decided that the Party should continue to promote socialist ideology and cultures.
