The first Hotel Jen property in Northeast China after its rebranding, the hotel caters to a new "Jeneration" of independently minded business and leisure travellers.
JUNIOR AMBASSADOR

Popular Chinese child actress Zhang Zimu has been named the Hotel Experience Junior Ambassador of the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel. One of China's favorite young film and TV stars, the 8-year-old joined the hotel following its popular collaboration with DreamWorks Experience to enhance services, amenities and special family offerings.
FESTIVALS

The acclaimed Shangri-La International Festival of Gastronomy will return for a second year with an illustrious line-up of celebrated chefs at 11 Shangri-La hotels from Oct 25 to 31. The 12 chefs, three of whom have restaurants listed in The World's 50 Best Restaurants, hold a total of 20 Michelin Stars. The Shangri-La culinary event will be simultaneously launched in 11 of the group's hotels in 10 cities, including Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei and Shanghai.

An ongoing beer festival at Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center, which started on Thursday and will last through Oct 30, will highlight traditional German beer, food and entertainment. The Korean Food Festival held at JW Marriott Hotel Beijing from Thursday to Oct 22 offers visitors an authentic Korean culture experience, with a variety of typical dishes and drinks from South Korea available. YEAR-END PARTY

Swissotel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center has launched a year-end party package for bookings of at least 80 people, with the hotel embarking on upgrading the Grand Ballroom with a Swiss touch, starting from 420 yuan ($63) net per person.
