Travel: Report lists popular scenic spots this holiday

West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is expected to be the most popular scenic spot during the weeklong National Day holiday starting tomorrow, according to a report released by internet giant Baidu and People's Daily Online. Drawing on the strength of big data analytics, the report forecasts traffic conditions and hot destinations for travellers during the holiday. Highways in Guangdong and Sichuan provinces as well as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will be most congested, it said. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen will remain the hot destinations for travelers, followed by Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou and Suzhou.
