In most high schools in China, students are not allowed to take their cellphones to the class. Recently, a high school in Henan province said it would allow pupils who get high scores in exams to carry their smartphones.

"Using laptops or smartphones is common among high school students abroad. They give students instant access to the information they want. They should not be banned."
