Few people have high hopes for Clinton or Trump presidency

Few US citizens are hopeful about either a Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton presidency, even as the US presidential race is heating up now, Gallup found in a poll released on Monday.

Thirty-three percent of US citizens said Clinton, the Democrat, would be a "great" or "good" president, compared with 25 percent who have the same opinion about her Republican rival, Trump, the poll found.

More US citizens, however, think each candidate would make a "poor" or "terrible" president, rather than a "good" or "great" one, Gallup found.
