World aviation forum to be held in Chengdu
The 22nd World Route Development Forum, one of the biggest annual events in the global civil aviation calendar, will be held in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province from Saturday through Tuesday. More than 3,500 delegates representing airlines, airports, government departments and international organizations are expected to attend the event. Chengdu is the second city on the Chinese mainland to hold the forum, following Beijing in 2009.
