Smart british women might binge drink - but we love it

Notion that 'ladettes' drink only to match men is outdated
The Department of Health is worried. It has expressed concerns that new guidelines on drinking alcohol could give women the false impression that they can drink as much as men. Current advice says that women should have an upper limit of 14 units a week, with men advised not to go above 21. Under new recommendations, this will be changed to 14 for both sexes - filling our silly little lady brains with the notion we can match menfolk pint for pint. Apparently, we might turn into "ladettes".
Hmmph.
