Top 10: London named as top global city
London was named as the most global city in 2016, beating last year's winner New York, according to market consultancy AT Kearney's global cities report. The report examines a city's performance on 27 metrics across five areas: business activity, human capital, information exchange, cultural experience and political engagement. Beijing, capital of China, was ranked ninth on the Global Cities Index.
