Forum and exhibition to focus on mining
The China-ASEAN mining forum and exhibition will open today in Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The two-day event is one of the activities scheduled for the upcoming China-ASEAN Expo, from Sunday to Wednesday in Nanning. Initiated in 2004, the expo is an important platform to promote trade and relations between China and ASEAN. China is ASEAN's largest trade partner, and ASEAN has been China's third-largest trade partner since 2010, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
