Cultural services at the fingertips

Thanks to the rapid progress of information technology in China, Shanghai's public cultural services can now be easily accessed by its residents.

Unveiled earlier this year, the Shanghai Cultural Cloud is China's first one-stop public cultural service platform that has been heralded as a breakthrough in cultural innovation.

The platform, which is considered an important part of the Zhangjiang cultural and technology creative industry, allows local residents to search for public cultural activities that they are interested in through its mobile application, website or WeChat public account. Residents can also organize their own activities at cultural venues by making reservations online.
