China is willing to push forward the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday. A two-day summit and expo regarding CPEC started in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad on Monday, aiming to provide a platform for exchanging ideas, opening new avenues for business, and exploring opportunities. CPEC represents a consensus reached by the two governments and is important for connectivity and cooperation in trade and economy, spokesperson Hua Chunying told a news conference.
