Quarterback's anthem boycott draws some superstar support

Basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and NFL legend Jim Brown sprang to the defense of Colin Kaepernick as the furor over the San Francisco 49ers quarterback's national anthem boycott raged on Tuesday.

Kaepernick ignited a firestorm of controversy over his refusal to stand up for the playing of The Star Spangled Banner before a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers last week.
