McHappy Runs support temporary housing for sick children and parents

More than 35,000 participants across the country, from 19 cities, joined in the activity

At the Garden Expo Park in Beijing, nearly 10,000 children and their parents wore red and white T-shirts and socks, joining in the fun in the third McHappy Run on Aug 20 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provide free temporary accommodation to children and their parents seeking medical treatment away from their hometowns.

Nationwide, more than 35,000 children and their parents in 19 cities participated in the child-parent runs, which were hosted by McDonald's China and supported by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation.
