Officials to discuss programs for the disabled

The State Council, China's Cabinet, will hold a media briefing today on the progress made in improving the lives of the disabled in the past five years. Zhang Haidi, chairwoman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, and other officials will speak at the event in Beijing. They will also discuss programs for the disabled for the next five years.
