Education authorities in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, have taken a major step to assure pupils get enough sleep - they have ordered all primary schools in the city to start 30 minutes late.

"An extra half-hour will make a lot of difference. It is enough for the pupils to have more rest or a good breakfast."
