Morning treat helps kids

A discussion forum was held in Shanghai to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Morning Kid, a program providing free breakfasts to students from two primary schools in the remote village of Pinganzhai in Yunnan province. Fan Honggen, director-general of the China Business Network Foundation, expressed his gratitude at the meeting. The program was initiated and supported by the foundation's Rainbow Project. Pinganzhai villagers don't eat breakfast and pupils went to school hungry until five years ago. Morning Kid's offering is a standard breakfast with milk and bread every day.
