Injured peacekeepers leave PLA hospital

Two Chinese UN peacekeepers who were seriously injured in South Sudan were discharged from PLA General Hospital in Beijing on Tuesday. Chen Ying and Huo Yahui were seriously injured on the evening of July 10 when a mortar shell hit their armored vehicle during fighting between two armed factions in Juba, capital of South Sudan. In addition to the two seriously injured soldiers, two Chinese peacekeepers were killed and three others mildly injured. Chen and Huo were admitted to the hospital on July 17.
