Deputy mayor probed for graft

Yin Hailin, deputy mayor of Tianjin municipality, is being investigated for "serious violations of discipline", the country's top anti-graft watchdog said on Monday. Yin, 56, was a city planning official before being appointed deputy mayor in 2012, according to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. In February, Yin was among the officials who were held accountable for massive explosions at a chemical warehouse in August 2015. More than 160 people were killed in the incident.
