Officials probed for corruption

Two officials from Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces have been placed under investigation on suspicion of corruption, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said on Friday. Shao Yi, former director of Jiangsu Nonferrous Metals with East China Mineral Exploration and Development Bureau, is suspected of accepting bribes, and Ai Qihong, former deputy general manager of Guangdong GW Holdings Group Co, is suspected of embezzlement.
